# Core game loop

To place a prediction during a “Prediction phase” (30s), you’ll need to choose your asset to predict, with the collateral, the direction, and the size for the prediction. Let’s break it down!

\ <mark style="color:blue;">**Predict:**</mark>

See your chosen asset at a glance and easily switch to others using the asset menu.

You can currently predict the price of: $SOL.<br>

Displays your current collateral asset along with a menu of all available options you can choose from. “Free Mode” is available for warm-up rounds, and platform credits can be used for no-risk sessions.

For each token you select (e.g., $SOL), you have 4 pre-selected sizes. &#x20;

You can also use a slider or the input field to customise your stake as desired.<br>
